Hiking Young's Gulch
|
Young's Gulch is a nice little trail up the Poudre Canyon across from the Ansel Watrous campground.
It is relatively quiet, and Brock and I enjoyed a nice early spring hike up it in 2003. Unfortunately,
the trail crosses the stream bed an inordinate amount of times, and the stream was quite swollen with
snow runoff from the previous week's storm, leading to occasional problems, and a slow hike. Again, we
were stopped about 3 miles up by snow and ice on the trail. If you like any of these shots, let me know and I'll send you the hi-res versions.
